Shelby Renjifo is a Latinx writer based in Oyster Bay, NY. A former mentee of bestselling author Nelson DeMille, she brings a sharp observational eye and a deep commitment to storytelling across multiple formats. In addition, she works as a Project Consultant for former Congressman Steve Israel, helping him develop film and television projects under his production company, Little Round Top Productions.

Shelby’s self-published literary fiction novella, A Wasp at a Funeral, was featured by Emma Roberts' book club Belletrist as well as numerous prominent literary communities. Her fiction and screenplays aim to probe the complexities of identity, grief, and resilience with nuance and empathy.
